Ana Aponte

Ana recently moved back to Florida after having lived in Charlotte, NC for the past 9 years. Before that, she was a long

-time resident of Coral Springs/Parkland, FL in Broward County where she raised her family. She has two daughters,

Paola and Chantal, and one son, Adriel. Her children were very active in sports and participated in local school, city,

and intramural sports. Chantal, her husband Jacob, and her adorable grandson remain in Charlotte. She is much closer

now to Paola and her husband Ivan who live in Winter Park, FL. Adriel and his wife Megan live in Bethesda, MA.

Ana is fully Spanish/English bilingual and bicultural. When asked where she is from, it is hard to say as she has had the

pleasure of living in Arizona, New Mexico, Georgia, Puerto Rico, Florida, and North Carolina. Although Ana was

born in Northern Mexico, her parents came to the US when she was only 5 years old. She grew up in Tucson, AZ and

attended the University of Arizona with a major in Business Administration and Human Resources. While attending

Arizona, she interned with Up With People doing summer staging to help international students. That was the

beginning of a 5-year UWP journey with tours in Europe, Central and South America, Caribbean, Mexico and about

20 US states. The global experiences of living with host families of so many diverse, social, economic, and cultural

backgrounds had an immense impact and created lifelong friendships across the world. It inspired her to become very

active in community, civic and cultural organizations. She volunteered with PTA/PTOs from elementary to HS,

fundraising for Basketball Teams, Soup Kitchens/Community Outreach, Animal Shelters foster family for abandoned

and surrendered pets. She has a great passion for volunteering in Professional Associations and served as President and

5-year board member of NAHREP (National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals), Community Link

focuses on Homelessness to Homeownership and Latin American Chamber of Commerce. Besides volunteering, she

enjoys traveling, cooking, reading and nature walks. The most memorable locations have been more about the people

and food than for the landmarks.

Ana started her real estate career in 2002 and has worked in Residential and Commercial RE, Luxury new home

construction, Investors, Residential and Commercial Property Management. She currently holds active Real Estate

licenses in FL, NC, and SC. She has continued to enrich her skills and knowledge by obtaining several designations.

Helping families fulfill the dream of homeownership has always been a driving force and gives her great satisfaction to

put the keys in their hands.
